What Does Being Gay Mean?

Being gay means being attracted to people of one’s own sex. Gay men are attracted to other men, while gay women (also known as lesbians) are attracted to other women. Gays are an essential part of the modern-day LGBTQIA+ movement, which also includes bisexuals.

The History of Homosexuality

Homosexuality (i.e., being gay) didn’t just start yesterday. Assumedly, it has always been an unquestionable trait of human beings (and other animals); more concretely, it’s been discussed in historical documents at least since Ancient Greece times.

Sadly, being gay wasn’t always as easy as it is today. For centuries, gay men and women were oppressed and exploited in the Western world (and beyond), subjugated by everything from organized religion to 19th-century Law.

Nowadays, being gay is still tough, especially in underdeveloped countries. However, gay people no longer have to hide in the shadows of society to avoid being arrested or worse.

New considerations regarding gender fluidity have also been very useful, helping gay people define their sexuality more accurately.

Sexuality is a spectrum, and that’s okay even if you’re just into same-gender people.

How Does Gay Sex Work?

Everybody knows how straight sex works, but how do gay people get down to business? When it comes to men, gay sex revolves mainly around anal sex, with foreplay action (including hand jobs and blow jobs) being also of extreme importance.

For gay women (lesbians), sex also includes tons of foreplay and is mainly dictated by actions such as cunnilingus, scissoring, and mutual masturbation.
