Threesome
What is a Threesome?
A threesome is a type of group sex that involves three people. A threesome can also be called a trio or ménage a trois.
For a threesome to be called a threesome, at least one of the people involved needs to interact with the two other participants. For example: When a cuckold watches his wife have sex with another man but doesn’t take part in the act itself, we cannot say he’s taking part in a threesome.
Types of Threesome
Having a threesome is one of the most common sexual fantasies, especially when such a threesome involves having sex with two people of the opposite sex (assuming we’re talking about straight couples, of course). However, there isn’t just one type of threesome:
- Threesomes are called MMF (Male Male Female) when they involve two men and one woman and FFM (Female Female Male) when they involve two women and one man;
- Non-straight individuals such as gays and lesbians can also have threesomes;
- A foursome (group sex involving four people instead of three) isn’t much different from a threesome, especially if it doesn’t involve the participation of two couples.
During a threesome, it’s common for two people of the people involved to join forces to pleasure the third person. This method guarantees that nobody’s “left behind” during the act. After all, nothing’s worse than feeling like a third wheel during a threesome!
Threesomes & Relationships
Threesomes are often associated with casual sex, but they can also happen in the context of a relationship. A polyamory relationship, for example, can involve three people who may necessarily engage in simultaneous sex.
Nevertheless, most relationship-related threesomes involve a couple who invites a third person to take part in the act. For this reason, couples who fantasize about having a threesome often rely on the participation of strangers they have met on sex websites such as Fuckbook.
